The Steffi Nossen Dance Foundation Presents: A Choreography Showcase
A Choreography Showcase brings together notable professional choreographers and artists along with pre-professional dancers from across the region in this unique performance designed to highlight new, innovative work in a culturally driven community. The Showcase is held at The Emelin Theatre a renowned, Westchester-based theater, in the vibrant city of Mamaroneck, NY. As part of our audience development programs we hold a Q&A after the show with all the dancers and choreographers. This is a great opportunity for both the audience and the choreographer to gain feedback and insight into the choreographic process and audience perception of the work. Purchase tickets here.

American Dance Guild’s 2022 Performance Festival: Return, Renew, Rejoice
Following the Covid hiatus, the American Dance Guild (ADG) is happy to be returning to the live Festival format, dedicated to presenting the range and diversity of current dance art practice and to remembering our historical modern dance roots. This year’s festival honors the late HT Chen and Dian Dong, and Phyllis Lamhut for their Lifetime Achievement in the field, and will recognize Christine Jowers for Distinguished Service to the Field.

alma’s Premiere
Alma, co-directed by Bianca Dam and Kat Bark, is elated to be premiering three new works by the company and one by Chris Ralph. five two Dance and Animus Movement will also be sharing their work. Spring Director’s Choice Performance: five two Dance Company
five two Dance was awarded the Directors’ Choice Award for our performance at the Spring for Spring Dance Festival in June, 2022, co-hosted by Catherine Messina and mignolo arts center. This generous award grants us use of mignolo arts center in Metuchen, NJ for an evening performance of our work. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased here.

Dixon Place Presents: Dance Bloc NYC
five two Dance was selected to present our work If ever as part of Dance Bloc NY’s 2022 Festival. We will be sharing the stage with Olga Rabetskaya Dance Projects. Learn more about Dance Bloc NY.

Fertile Ground
Fertile Ground is a monthly new works series for emerging choreographers and experimenting, established professionals. Five artists present a work-in-progress and receive audience-driven feedback in a post-performance discussion (with wine!) moderated by Artistic Director, Valerie Green.
